Nurturing strong minds, strong hearts
At MidCoast Christian College, faith and wellbeing are not separate parts of school life — they are deeply interconnected. We believe that a student’s spiritual and emotional health lays the foundation for academic success and a life filled with purpose and joy.

Faith in each day
Our staff and teachers are active Christians, committed to integrating a biblical perspective into every aspect of their work — from classrooms to the playground. Together, we aim to point students to the hope, love, and purpose found in Jesus Christ.
Bible Studies
Weekly lessons from Kindergarten to Year 10, and fortnightly lessons for Year 11 and 12, teach students the stories, theology, and doctrines of the Bible.
Chapel Services
Tailored for Infants, Primary, and High School students, our chapel services provide an age-appropriate space for worship and reflection.
Lunchtime Groups
Students can deepen their faith through Bible study, prayer, and fellowship, with opportunities to explore their personal relationship with God.

Supporting the whole child
We know that students thrive when they feel safe, supported, and understood. That’s why our Wellbeing Team, made up of trained Christian counsellors and a social worker, is available to help students navigate life’s challenges.
Holistic wellbeing
Our wellbeing framework addresses spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical health, empowering students to build resilience, manage stress, and develop healthy relationships.
Tailored support
Working alongside Learning Support, our Wellbeing Team provides personalised strategies to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring they feel confident and ready to engage in their education.
Restorative practise
We focus on conflict resolution through communication and understanding, fostering respect and unity within our community.

A community of care and belonging
At MCCC, we believe every student and family should feel they belong. From Grandparents’ Day to Carols on the Green, and peer mentoring programs to student leadership roles, we create opportunities for connection and collaboration across all ages.
Our shared purpose of showing Jesus’ love extends beyond our school gates. Whether through serving at chapel, attending youth groups, or participating in community outreach, students are encouraged to live out their faith in meaningful ways.

A partnership between home and school
We understand that parents play a critical role in their child’s wellbeing and spiritual growth. By maintaining open communication and working collaboratively with our staff, parents can feel confident that their child is thriving in every aspect of their development.
At MidCoast Christian College, we’re here to nurture, guide, and equip every student to grow into the person God has created them to be — ready to make a difference in their family, community, and the world.
