College Managed Devices for Year 7

We have introduced a College Managed Device program for Year 7, where students are provided with a Microsoft Surface Pro 10, included in the College fees. This program comes with a 4-year warranty, and includes a protective case and stylus pen.

The College-managed device program commenced for Year 7 in 2025, and will extend to:

  • Years 7 and 8 in 2026
  • Years 7, 8 and 9 in 2027
  • Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 in 2028 etc

College Managed Devices or Bring Your Own Device for Years 8 to 12

For students in Years 8-12, we offer the option to participate in the College Managed Device program or to bring their own device (BYOD). If opting for a BYOD, the device must meet the following specifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • 8GB RAM
  • 256GB SSD
  • Intel i5 processor or equivalent
  • At least 10 hours battery life
  • 5 GHz wireless capability

Recommended Specifications:

  • Intel i7 processor or equivalent

Please note that Chromebooks are not compatible with our system due to their limitations. As a Microsoft school, we predominantly use Microsoft products, including Microsoft Office 365 and Teams, for seamless learning and collaboration across all year levels.

Our College has partnered with Learning With Technologies (LWT), a specialist in education IT, to provide a dedicated parent portal where families can access a selection of devices that meet our minimum specification requirements.. The company offers a diverse range of laptops to suit various budgets, from cost-effective models to premium high-performance options. They accept Zip and Latitude finance options.
